West Valley High School's dance team won several awards at the Sharp's International competition at Tahquitz High School last Saturday.

West Valley placed second in lyrical dance, first in kickline, first in their division for novelty and character, and first overall in novelty and character.

West Valley also won most spirited. The team has fifteen members. The team's next competition will be Feb. 11 at the Golden State Championships.
