Beverly Gardner, 85, of San Jacinto, died Feb. 6, 2012, at Rose Hills Cottage.

Miller-Jones Mortuary i n Heme t is handling arrangements. Mrs. Gardner, who was born in Iowa, lived in San Jacinto for 22 years. She was a homemaker for 55 years.

She enjoyed creative projects and golfing. She was known to have made a couple of holes-in-one in her life.

She was a member of the Ladies Golf Club at Soboba Country Club and the Ding-Dong Long Beach Association.

Mrs. Gardner was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James Gardner; and her twin sister, Betty Palmer Belden.

She is survived by a son, Gay Gardner-Beck; a daughter, Jamie Schmidt; and two grandchildren.
