Nathan Eugene Baker, 87, of Hemet, died Feb. 4, 2012, at his home.

Services were Feb. 14 at Riverside National Cemetery.

Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet handled arrangements.

Mr. Baker, who was born in Indiana, lived in Hemet for 47 years. He was an Arco Station owner for 10 years.

He enjoyed archery, hunting, boxing, NASCAR, and hiking in national parks.

Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, Betty Baker; two sons, Mark Eugene Baker and Leif Edward Baker; a daughter, Kipp Thomas; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
