The FIRST EVER Medical clinic inside Walmart stores in Southern California comes to San Jacinto

"The Clinic at Walmart," operated by Dr. Koka and Associates, officially opened their door on October 28, 2011. A GRAND OPENING & RIBBON CUTTING celebration took place in the presence of dignitaries, Senator Bill Emmerson, Scott Miller,Mayor of the City of San Jacinto, City Council members, the Soboba Tribal Council, Walmart Management, Chamber leadership, and Dr. Koka's family and friends.

Lakshman Koka, CEO of SJ Medical Group based in San Jacinto, CA said, "We have been working with Walmart for a long time to bring this clinic to Southern California and it is finally becoming a reality, thanks to the help and support from Walmart Management and the City of San Jacinto Council and staff. We strongly feel having a "Walk-in Clinic/Urgent Care" inside Walmart is a valuable benefit for the residents in this valley, especially these days where we are all stretching our dollars and balancing our time to continue having a good quality of life and family togetherness."

The Clinic inside Walmart is clean, safe and secure. Total privacy is maintained (electronic medical records) and everything is up front; the charges for treatments are posted right there and for a nominal fee they can see the doctor and get quality care. Another advantage of being inside Walmart is the ample parking plus a well lit and secure parking lot where security patrol cars are always driving around trying to detect any potential problems. This a PERFECT alternative to EMERGENCY ROOM visits for non-life threatening medical needs.

The Clinic at Walmart accepts most insurance, including Medicare, IEHP, Vantage, PPO, (Most) HMO and cash. At the present time, the clinic is open 7 days a week - Monday through Friday - 10am to 8pm; Saturday and Sunday hours are 10am to 6pm.
