Bible Fellowship offers Griefshare
Bible Fellowship Church of Hemet offers a Griefshare group. People who have lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend are invited to be with others who understand the hurt of loss. The special seminar and support group is for those grieving a loss and is sponsored by people who aim to understand each individual's experience and offer encouragement and comfort.
The Griefshare group will meet on Tuesday beginning Feb. 7 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for 13 weeks. The classes are held at Bible Fellowship Church. For more information, call 652-5885 or visit www.bfchemet.org.
Orthodox church meets other Sunday
St. Anthony of the Desert Orthodox Mission meets on the first and third Sundays of each month at 9:30 a.m. Meetings are held at the Hemet Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Stetson and Girard.

Knights of Columbus collect for charity
The Hemet Valley Knights of Columbus recently held their annual Tootsie Roll Drive at Our Lady of the Valley and St. Anthony catholic churches to raise money for two local charities, T.H.E. Center and Exceed.
Both organizations provide assistance for the mentally challenged.
Knight of Columbus chairman Donald Turcotte said that each organization will receive over $1,300. For more information, call 929-6354.
Knights hold spaghetti dinner
The Knights of Columbus hold a spaghetti dinner the first and third Friday of every month from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 7000 W. Florida Avenue.
The menu includes all-you-caneat spaghetti and meatballs, salad, french bread, coffee, and ice cream. Adult tickets cost $7, children tickets are $4, and extra meatballs are $.50 each.
The event is open to the public.
Proceeds will go toward St. Hyacinth's Academy and wheelchairs for the handicapped.
