MSJC annual Our Stars Gala
The Mt. San Jacinto College Foundation is inviting sponsors and guests to its fourth Annual Evening with Our Stars Gala Feb. 11 at the Pechanga Resort in Temecula.
The gala is the Foundation's signature event to raise money for student scholarships and other endeavors that benefit students and MSJC. It is open to the public.
This year's theme is Beyond Imagination: A Celebration of the Visual Arts and will feature the artwork created by many talented MSJC students involved in a variety of disciplines, f rom digital photography to paintings to sculpture. Winners of a student art contest will be announced at the gala.
The winners wi l l rec e ive scholarships ranging from $250 to $1,000 to help them reach their educational goals.
The gala is a semi-formal event. Cocktail attire is appropriate. The event promises an evening of fun whil e also raising funds that benefit MSJC students. It will offer an elegant buffetstyle meal, live music by the MSJC Menifee Jazz Ensemble, deejay music, dancing, and a silent auction.

Valentines for Veterans
National Salute to Veteran Patients 2012 is scheduled from Feb. 12-18. The program invited the community to send Valentine greetings to veteran patients tat Loma Linda Hospital.
The Valle Vista Library will host a collection in the lobby until 6 p.m. Feb. 9. The library is located at 25757 Fairview Avenue and is open six days a week.
