Community Pantry receives donations

The Community Panty located in the San Jacinto Valley received a $10,000 grant from the Community Foundation serving Riverside and San Bernardino. The donation will assist low income women and children.

The Pantry also received gift certificates from the 99¢ Only Stores. These will be used to purchase much needed food for clients. The Community Pantry is very grateful for the support.

 

Senior Computer Club meetings

The Hemet Senior Computer Club meets the third Monday of each month from 10 a.m. to Noon at the Valle Vista Senior Center at 43935 E. Acacia Street.

Dues are $12 per year for singles and $18 for couples.

New San Jacinto Computer Classes

The New San Jacinto Computer Classes will run on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the San Jacinto Community Center. There is no charge or donations required. Windows XP, Vista, and 7 will be taught. Participants are asked to make a list of problems they need help with or procedures they need to learn. Bring laptop computers and follow along with the class. Classes will be presented by Walter Quiroz and Donna L. Mata. For more information, call 654-7212 or visit www.sjbcc.org.
