Lyman Turner

Lyman O. Turner, 83, of Hemet, died July 25, 2008 at Hemet Valley Medical Center.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 16 at Anza Community Hall in Anza. Inurnment will be private. Weaver Mortuary in Beaumont is handling arrangements.

Mr. Turner, who was born in Massachusetts, lived in Hemet one year. He was a general carpenter for 50 years.

He served in the Navy during World War II.

Mr. Turner is preceded in death by his wife, H. Marie Lapczenski Turner. He is survived by a son, Wayne, of Idaho; a daughter, Lynne Jackson of Arizona; one grandchild; a brother, Ralph, of Maine; and two sisters, Doris Alexander of Maryland and Jeannette Hemingway of Maine.
